Commercial & Industrial Emergency Power
Martinez Power Solutions keeps commercial standby generators across the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex ready to start on the first crank — through documented preventive maintenance, load bank testing, and 24/7 emergency repair.
Monthly, quarterly, and annual programs built to manufacturer intervals and NFPA 110 testing guidance — every visit closes with a written report.

How we test → 04 / ATSThe generator can run perfectly and the building still goes dark if the ATS doesn't transfer. We treat it as critical equipment, not an afterthought.
ATS care →Company Overview
Martinez Power Solutions, LLC is a Dallas–Fort Worth based commercial and industrial generator service provider. We work exclusively on standby and prime power equipment serving facilities where downtime is not an option — hospitals, data centers, telecom sites, manufacturing plants, apartment communities, municipal buildings, and schools.
We're structured the way a facilities director wants a vendor structured: one point of contact, one documented process, one standard of work regardless of which technician is dispatched. Our field team follows manufacturer service intervals and NFPA 110 testing guidance on every visit, and every visit closes with a written report — not a verbal summary.
As a Texas LLC, we carry commercial general liability coverage and keep the documentation your procurement and risk teams need before award on hand: capability statement, certificate of insurance, W-9, and EIN verification.
Full Scope of Work
Every service below is available as a standalone call or bundled into a scheduled preventive maintenance program. One vendor, one invoice, one number to call.
Monthly inspections, quarterly inspections, and full annual PM across the engine, cooling, fuel, electrical, controls, and transfer equipment.
24/7/365 dispatch for failed starts, no-transfer conditions, overheating, fuel contamination, and controller faults.
Honest diagnostics on intermittent faults — we report what we find, not what's easiest to say or quickest to sell.
4-hour resistive testing with recorded readings at every load step and a pass/fail certificate suitable for compliance records.
Contact resistance, torque checks, sequence-of-operation testing, relay inspection, and thermal scanning on transfer switches.
Fault history review, set-point verification, reprogramming to manufacturer spec, and remote monitoring integration checks.
Coolant analysis, radiator service and pressure testing, hose and belt inspection, and block heater verification.
Fuel quality and contamination testing, water separator service, filter replacement, and day tank and transfer pump checks.
Inspection intervals, testing, and documentation structured to support your compliance file and AHJ inspections.
Program Component 01
A full-scope annual service designed to catch degradation before it becomes downtime — covering the engine, generator end, cooling system, fuel system, controls, and transfer equipment in a single scheduled visit.
| System | Annual service performed |
|---|---|
| Engine | Oil & filter change, air filter inspection, belt & hose inspection, valve adjustment check, exhaust system inspection |
| Cooling System | Coolant level & condition test, radiator inspection, fan & shutter operation check, block heater function test |
| Fuel System | Fuel quality test, filter and water separator service, tank & line inspection, leak check |
| Electrical / Battery | Battery load test, charger output verification, terminal cleaning, cable inspection |
| Controls | Controller diagnostics, alarm & shutdown function test, fault history review |
| Transfer Switch | ATS inspection, contact & connection check, sequence-of-operation test |
| Full Load Test | 4-hour resistive load bank test with recorded readings at every step |
Program Component 02
A lightweight monthly touchpoint that exercises the unit under monitored conditions and confirms the system is start-ready between full inspections — exactly what NFPA 110 expects between quarterly and annual service intervals.
Program Component 03
Every inspection — monthly, quarterly, or annual — follows the same six-step field sequence. Same order, same standard, regardless of which technician is dispatched.
Technician checks in, reviews site-specific safety requirements, and confirms unit accessibility.
Belts, hoses, leaks, corrosion, enclosure integrity, and fluid levels are checked and recorded.
Battery voltage, charger output, and the starting circuit are load tested — not just voltage-checked.
Unit is started under monitored conditions; voltage, frequency, and oil pressure readings are logged.
Fault history is pulled and alarm and shutdown functions are confirmed operational.
Findings, readings, and photos are compiled into a report delivered before the technician leaves site.
Program Component 05
Generators that only ever run unloaded develop wet-stacking and never prove they can actually carry your building. Our 4-hour resistive load bank test forces the unit through a real load profile and records performance at every stage.
Voltage, frequency, amperage, oil pressure, and coolant temperature captured at each load stage.
Confirms proper combustion and clears wet-stacking that builds up during unloaded exercise runs.
A dated result you can hand to an AHJ inspector, an insurance auditor, or your compliance file.
Program Component 04
The transfer switch is the single point of failure most often overlooked — a generator can run perfectly and still fail to power the building if the ATS doesn't transfer cleanly.
Components 06 – 09
Overheating is a top cause of failure under load. Coolant freeze point, pH, and additive package tested each visit; radiator cleaned and pressure tested.
Diesel that sits for months degrades. We test fuel condition proactively and recommend polishing when contamination is found.
A battery can read full voltage and still fail to crank. Ours are load tested, with commercial-grade replacement installed the same visit when available.
Fault history pulled and explained, start delay and transfer timing verified, firmware reprogrammed to manufacturer spec when needed.
Component 10
Every visit — monthly, quarterly, annual, or emergency — closes with a digital report delivered to your facilities team the same day. Reports are archived by asset, so your team can pull a unit's complete maintenance history for an AHJ inspection, insurance audit, or capital planning review in minutes.
| Deliverable | Frequency |
|---|---|
| Monthly inspection report | 12× / year |
| Quarterly inspection report | 4× / year |
| Annual PM report | 1× / year |
| Load bank test certificate | 1× / year |
| Service history archive | Ongoing |
| Emergency service log | As needed |
| 24/7 emergency line access | Always on |

Get a fleet quote →The Real Cost of Doing Nothing
A planned annual PM is a fixed, predictable cost. A generator that fails during an outage triggers a chain of unplanned costs that routinely exceeds the entire program price in a single event.
Areas We Serve
We're based in Dallas and dispatched from Dallas — not a national call center routing your outage to a subcontractor you've never vetted.
Outside this list? Call — we travel for the right account.
The Difference
No verbal summaries. Every inspection ends in a dated, itemized digital report with photos and readings.
A generator down at 2 a.m. gets a technician moving — not a voicemail box and a callback window.
Inspection intervals and load testing structured to support your compliance file and AHJ documentation.
Generator, ATS, cooling, fuel, battery, and controls — one vendor, one invoice, one number to call.
We test the unit under real load rather than confirming it merely starts and calling that a pass.

Standing Behind Our Work
All labor performed under our programs is warrantied for 90 days from the date of service against workmanship defects. Replacement parts carry the manufacturer's warranty, passed through in full and logged to the asset's service history — no digging for a paper receipt when a claim comes up.
Standby generators sit at the intersection of high voltage, rotating equipment, and fuel systems. Our field team treats every visit as live-electrical work, because it is: lockout/tagout on every service involving transfer switches or panels, arc-flash rated PPE per NFPA 70E, and site-specific safety briefings on arrival.
Credentials
Certificate of Insurance can be issued directly to your risk or procurement team, naming your organization as certificate holder or additional insured as required.
